in the North and South Islands. During my internship, I was tasked with designing a solution to improve
the SAP Fiori launchpad experience for store users.

The Problem
Foodstuffs, serving 10,000 users via SAP Fiori, faces interface usability challenges. Ahead of the SAP 2023 update, they aim to streamline the launchpad to boost efficiency and reduce errors.

What I did
I conducted research and interviews with stakeholders and store users to develop a launchpad design solution addressing efficiency issues and reducing errors.
What I learned
The initial role-based personas, based on stakeholder assumptions, did not accurately represent end users. All users shared the same core issues.

The Outcome
I pivoted to create a new persona and adopted a participatory design approach. Through co-design sessions, I developed an ideal SAP launchpad that would improve business process efficiency by 15%. Stakeholders, including product owners, the IT team, and designers, were pleased and used it as a framework for deployment in their sandbox test environment.
